Education and Training: PhD in Journalism (University of Valladolid, 2011) and Doctoral Award. Master´s Degree in Journalism (Autonomous University of Madrid y El País, 1994).
Research: Member of Research Group New Trends in Communication (NUTECO) of the University of Valladolid. She has participated in several research projects, is now a full-time researcher in the project "Political infotainment on television and Internet. Formats, audiences and impact on the Spanish political communication" (INFOPOLTNET) funded by the Ministry of Education. She is author or co-author of twenty scientific papers published in refereed journals such as: Comunicar, Revista Latina de Comunicación Social, Zer, Estudios sobre el Mensaje Periodístico o Historia y Comunicación Social.
Research Interests: Ethics and Deontology in Journalism, Infotainment, Comparative Content Analysis in Media.
