Our Research Interests
We are interested in the study of socio-economic inequalities between different countries and population groups and their relationship with health and quality of life.
We are also concerned about economic policy measures that help reduce these inequalities, as well as the efficient use of economic resources.
Inequalities in health and quality of life
Socioeconomic determinants that explain gender differences in health and quality of life of the population.
Analysis of the relationship between aging, socioeconomic position, gender, and depopulation.
Construction of synthetic indicators to measure the well-being of the population and its distribution by countries and/or regions.
Social wellbeing and economic growth
Analysis of the relationships between socioeconomic conditions and the education of individuals as well as how economic growth is driven by education.
Study of the relationships between economic growth, income distribution and unemployment.
Gender inequalities in the labor market
Study and measurement of the gender wage gap related to education.
Study of gender differences in labor participation.
