2012 - "Edificios y Conjuntos de Arquitectura Popular en Castilla y León"

Electronic publication developed from information obtained in the project of ethnological heritage in the region of Castilla y León.

This project was promoted by the General Direction of Cultural Heritage. It is part of the planned actions of the Sector Plan of ethnological heritage Plan PAHIS 2004-2012 and has been performe by a group of profesors of the University of Valladolid, attached to the Urbanism and Architecture Representation Department and to the y Photogrammetry Laboratory of the School of Architecture in Valladolid, with a large number of collaborators of that institution and outside professionals.

The project is part of a territorial system of global heritage composed by buildings and ethnological places in different territorial areas of Castilla y León, which includes studies and deep research, intervention planning and management of this diverse and complex heritage.

The specific objectives were:

- Identify, select and document an ensemble of ethnological heritage buildings or places, representing different geographical areas and agricultural livelihoods of Castilla y León.

-Propose a set of initiatives and viable actions in the traditional architecture.
